I work for a big corporate fashion company, and there are always people who want something from us, so a lot of cold calls / emails etc. Usually I just delete the emails but a few that swing between the desperate and the presumptuous:
1 – "I know your time is valuable to you....." – then write 500 words on their SEO software.
2 – "Can I send you a $10 starbucks gift card so we can have a virtual 'coffee chat'?"
3 – "Why not access my calendar here (online calendar app), why not throw on a time that works for us both and we can catch up?"
It almost makes me feel as lonely as LinkedIn.
