It's not a used find, but after 10 years of buying records, I finally have the one record I've wanted the most the entire time.
There's a Swedish band called Kent that I have always loved. Got into them in college. They put out two English language albums in the late 90's, Isola and Hagnesta Hill. Good grief do I love both of those albums.
I looked for them on Discogs all the time, and they never put out English vinyl versions. I was wiling to pay $$$ just to have the Swedish versions. They then put out some reissues within the last few years, but were only Swedish versions.
A late night discogs search a couple weeks ago finally revealed that they did indeed issue those two English albums on vinyl last year in 2023 for the first time. Hell, they were even on Amazon.
I haven't opened it up to listen to yet, been dealing with a ton of anxiety and as much as music is healing and good I kind of don't like listening to music when I'm like that. But now I have the first album, Isola, and I can't wait to put it on. The other one comes in March.
