I just love the way "caveman astronaut" rolls off the tongue.
And I love the imagery it puts off.
I see something with raw, antiquated technology, maybe a few tubes leaking some fumes, but it's okay because he can tough it out, and some very unsophisticated garments and space suit made of patchwork leather, long matted hair that manages to get sandwiched between the helmet and spacesuit connection valves, and one of those leather water carrying pouches clung to his waist. And he's clumsy too, constantly having to reattach the leather cords that lace up his foot coverings. Not shoes, but foot coverings. His beard is so overgrown that it fills most of the helmet, leaving very little visibility through the visor shield.
On the side of his helmet, there are crude drawings of the Orion and Saggitarious constellations, they look as if they were scribbled on the side of a cave wall.He is known as Medrozon, Caveman Astronaut.
