    been a flurry of acquisition lately.. it all started with a new interface.. MOTU 828.. first brand new interface I have purchased since 1998.. total game changer.. USB3.1 so fast compared to Firewire.

    Then picked up a cheap single Genelec 8030 off marketplace.. super nice as a AB Alt monitor..

    Then fell down Roland 500 modular after picking up 2 modules cheap.. and got suckered into then picking up a 572 ..

    not like i have any time to do any music lately

    • oh and picked up a grandmother a couple of weeks back.. you know, because cheap synths are cheapautoflavour
    • i still use the 828 firewire... no way i can justify dropping 1k on something that's slightly faster.hans_glib
    • i was using a digi003, and it was totally doing everything i needed, except i was stuck in Mojave.. but make no mistake, its not just slightly faster..autoflavour
    • latency is under 1ms .. for the first time ever i can run external hardware and audio from sessions with basically no latency.. its a total game changerautoflavour
    • not to mention somehow it sounds different.. might just be a perception thing, but honestly things I was working on the 003 sound different now
