i've had shitty £1 reading glasses for a while now, for..reading.
I've just realised that I now need glasses to see the computer screen properly.
Also, I apparently called it a 'computer screen' so . oh jeez. I just aged a decade. Perhaps two.
- to the opticians i go.Nairn
- Last week, doc told me I’m ready for bifocals. I did not need him to tell me this. I knew.nb
- I started wearing progressive glasses about 5 years ago. I'm fine with it. My eyes will get worse but they can always just change my prescription.CyBrainX
- Dear brothers in Christ, I feel you.Nairn

- I got bifocals a couple of years ago.
This year I got some bifocal contacts. No idea how they work, but they do! F*ckin witchcraft!microkorg - I buy different flavors of shampoo and conditioner because I can no longer read “Shampoo” or “Conditioner” in the shower without glasses.shellie
- I also wear seamless bifocals which ive noticed fucks w/ my line when im on the putting green lining up shot. Cant tilt my head to the side or the ground warpshellie
- Microkorg, does it matter which orientation you put the contacts? they work no matter how u put them in? I've never had bifocals at all...cherub
- @prophetone ahahahsted
- @microkorg the top part of the lens helps with the distant, the bottom part with the near view.sted
- Sted, yup, thats how bifocal glasses work. But with the lenses you put them in any way up. (answers your question too cherub)microkorg
- Ah, it's not a top/bottom thing...

- Guess who left his specs at home today, lol.Nairn
- I inquired about contacts and before bigocal which is more expensive they offered two prescriptions one for each eye.shellie
- Apparently most peoples brains splits the difference. But some cant do it then the more expensive lenses are the way. Wild.shellie
- I just got progressives (bifocals?) last week. Ugh.monospaced
- cheers, microkorg!cherub
- I tried the two different contacts as a cheaper solution but I couldn't gel with it. Gave me real anxiety. And I'm not convinced thatmicrokorg
- its a good thing long term having each eye doing different things.microkorg
- I wear glasses 80% of the time. Contacts for sport mainly.microkorg
- I had to give up on contacts about 5 years ago. The reading vision deteriorated too much and I hate reading glasses.CyBrainX
- So, I got transition lenses for my already bad distant vision and for reading. I miss contacts but have gotten used to glasses.CyBrainX
