boxing day in canada is dec. 26 when everything in stores go on sale, similar to the day after thanksgiving day sale in the united states.
why do they call it 'boxing day', i'm not sure, someone told me once its because its getting to the end of the year and inventory is coming up so things gets boxed up, but it gets easier if they're sold off on boxing day
