i did that once in college when i was desperate. they give you three trial, uh, 'visits' before they decide on whether to use you or not. those are just to see about the quality of your sperm, you're not actually donating. price back then (this was more than 10 years ago) was $75 a pop. After the three visits they'll tell you if they want you as a donor, and then you can refuse if you have ethical qualms about fathering babies you won't see.
