i seel these cameras on the weekends, so here's my pitch:
nikon 8700 vs. olympus 8080
olympus has better color, but the nikon has better zoom.
the operation of the olympus is alot easier, but the nikon comes with many scene modes to help you when you want to throw it in automatic mode. The scene modes are very nice...
BUT if you are already comfortable spending this much money on a camera, i suggest taking it a step up to the Nikon D70...
