like any business non-profit doesnt mean that they are free and about.
they have their legal bounds of rights of ownership.
Since they non profit, they do at times require you to sign over ownership since there is no monetary exchange.
as you offered your service to them they own the rights to the design that you have produced.
they are just very anal many non-profit gets screwed over with so called volunteers after the work is done.
yes they are anal but you have offered your service to them
you should of contracted the scope limitation, warranty and intellectual property rights.
