A few things no one has mentioned yet:
1: It looks like the 16-bit era has returned in the sense that titles are going to be mostly cross-platform. This is good for some things, like being able to comfortably buy an exclusive system...but sucks for other reasos, the main one being that they graphic differences aren't going to be all that dramatic. On these titles atleast.
System specific titles will certainly show us the horsepower winner between the two heavyweights (360/PS3).
2: The cost of games for the PS3 is going to be insanely high. First generation BluRay? God help us. Remember the cost of DVDs when they first came out?
And no, they won't take a hit on the game sales, because they're losing so much money on the system itself.
Revolution will not only be the cheapest system, but will probably have the cheapest games. If the majority of games actually turn out to be cross-platform, Nintendo is going to make a killing.
