I thought it was very interesting how the went from OK to Kid A. It was like working two different sides of the Prog genre.
On one hand you had OK Computer which was very much in the complicated, multi-part approach that you would find in bands like Yes or Crimson (not that it sounded like that, i'm talking about approach and song form). Kid A on the other hand was Prog in the same way that Can, or Gong would be considered Prog. One or two simple ideas mutated over the course of a tune. Much more atmospheric.
Idiotech is also one of the best songs ever. Period.

high school band? the production on ok computer is amazing, that is no high school shit, and the lyrics in radiohead are deep and very clever, maybe they're over your head.

jasonX,
i'm not trying to be a hater and never will...
if you had listen to their albums and their live, you'll know what i mean. they really put loads of efforts to realize their songs' arrangements and effects (both guitar and electronic) in live.
and if if you get a chance to see them play live it will be also an interesting thing to see the swap the instruments like 2 guitars 1 piano to 3 guitars to 1 guitar 1 piano 1 keyboard...
here's a link of the live from the PBS...
