Illustrator 10. It doesn't behave like the ninth. I have a dashed line. Stroked. I want to have it as a fill. Object>Path>Outline Stroke always worked me, but this time Illustrator 10 striked not every dash, but just the whole shape, as if it wasn't dashed... How do I make it outline dashes?? Wtf...

i've yet to upgrade to 10 but i can't get the effect your going for in 9 either. I do however offer this trick... If it is an evenly spaced dash (with the same size dash ie: 12pt 12pt 12pt etc... create the path that you want to be a dashed line, use your path TYPE tool type in a bunch of dashes with whatever font works/kern it to the desired spacing and then go to Type/Create outlines... Let me know if this helps for ya.

i've been using AI for years, it's my favorite and i just love it so =]
as for answering AI questions... I'm blown away by the brilliant/knowledgeable web designers here on NT (of which I am not), therefore when the rare occasion comes that I can help, I try to do it.
