in all honesty though, its not a bad idea if you get a *small* group of trustworthy individuals together. Have one person register as a LLC (preferably everyone would live in the us to make taxes easier), set up a company bank account. Each person bills hours for the portion of the project they work on and are paid a set hourly wage from the company account. Everyone brings in projects, and you can work out a payment for bringing in business as well.
Once you've established your name or have a few big clients you can move on from there.

You shouldn't have everyone under one company too much administration costs. Start your own S corp and hire out for Freelance or subcontractors. So everyone works for them selve but together on projects one could not do alone.

People. My brother and I already started a company. Our clever name is Red Squirrel Design. My expertise is flash and my brother's is perl and other server stuff. If you don't want to go to the trouble of starting a company and getting a bank account, you can piggyback on ours. We need some kickass javascript and design people.

I agree Q.
I am curious to see how the resistance.dk gig works out. A lot of talent. But a lot of egos at the same time.

isn't that what we are doing?

Always alot of egos that's why you keep it seperate.
We've been really luck to have a group of really creative people who can work well off each others creative ideas, adding and criticing.
But don't be fooled into thinking its easy

Find peeps in your area and start working with them. Why start a business with someone you don't even know. To suggest this idea is a sign of ignorance of the business world. Lots of these people can talk alot of game but when it comes dow to working and producing a profitable product, it will be hard to coordinate a business plan with people your not sure you can rely on. Start a user Group or something. Network and build form there.

Thanks brad.
What are the "exact recources" you are talking about?
- Q0
What I mean about NT is that you should have to submit your portfolio to them inorder to get approved to post in this new area
You need quantification
