i'm looking for some sound editing software for noobs. i don't want something with a steep learning curve since i just want to do a few basic things: i want to be able to take a .wav or midi format file and lay them on top of eachother or sequence them, and then output them to mp3 or .wav. i have acid 2.0 pro, but it looks pretty overwhelming. Any suggestions?

Acid is not really too hard to learn for simple things.
Goldwave is even simpler but not quite as many options. it is also PC app. http://www.goldwave.com/release.…
