    Are there any welthy designers out there who've driven the new BMW 7-series and tried the iDrive thingy? I am curious about the usability of that system (from a designer point af view) since motor journalists seem to have mostly bad things to say about it.

    I...own an X-5 and I am cool with the dudes at my dealership so I went in to get my fluids topped of and they let me test drive. I think it is one of the best machines out on the road today once you memorize where everything is it's like working your gearshift second nature.
