drawing in Freehand

    I'm making some logos, using Freehand. I've used this program for years but it's still real frustrating to me. I keep bringing stuff into Flash where I can easily fill, cut, etc and then bringing it back into Freehand. This is a stupid way to work.
    Here's my #1 stupid question - how can I keep what it thinks is a 'double click' from selecting the whole group? I don't want that! I'm always deselcting and trying again. I looked through the online manuals - since FH8, no explanation of this constant group selection. Aaaaaaargh
