everytime i go to a site with active x i get this error saying my security setting are preventing the page from loading yet i have changed them to every setting possible and enabled active x still i get the same message anyone know what to do? (ive even redownloaded IE6)

make sure the security settings you adjusted were for the internet and not an intranet.
also, set the settings for active x to enabled or prompt where needed. that should do it. you may need to get a more recent service pack for your OS too (assuming your running windows)
