HEY; i´m going to Nijmegen this weekend.Never been to Holland; anything fun ´round those parts??!!

Never been to Nijmegen. Wait for "the locals" :)
Groningen rocks, man. At 3:30 AM there is a line outside to get into a bar. Number of clubs and establishments of different kind is countless.

Holland loves you back :) Try Maastrich, Utrecht and Amsterdam next time if you can.

Thanks Holland! :)
Thanks for the invitation, but Amsterdam is for tourists. Been there 4 times already - too tiresome.
Den Haag is the coolest ever chill out, I tell ya. I love the seaside part of it. And the architecture........ A bliss.
Utrecht? I though Roterdam should be a spot to visit. Hm.Give me a job in Holland and I'll move there tomorrow.

I personally love Rotterdam. I was born there. I never suggest it, because most people think it's to cold and urban.
In WWII the centre of Rotterdam was removed, so loads of postwar and modern architecture.
If you like old Dutch architecture Utrecht is the place. It has a lot in common with Groningen.

I wish someone gave me a job. And I live here.... Hahaha.

yeah, i was there... I quite liked some bits of it__ but Eduard (organizer) should have streamlined it more.... Peter Greenaway's speech was waaayyy to long imho...
but I really enjoyed the party in the St.Laurenschurch at the end.. with the mad graphics by Golan Levin!

We picked the wrong day I guess. Everything went wrong. Speakers didn't show up or were late and there was an audience of about 25 people. We were half of the audience ;P haha.
Better luck next time. It's a nice innitative, but I think it requires more organisation skills to pull off an event like this.

Just wanted to agree with everyone...I love Holland as well. I went on on a 2 week holiday in 98. After a week, I had to send an e-mail to my boss "Um, I won't be coming back to work, thank you." And stayed there for 3 months with a good friend of mine. Met a lot of really cool, intelligent, creative, and unpretensious people there. Love Amsterdam (although the tourism is at times unbearable), Utrecht, Rotterdam. Trying to get back there for a few months this summer. Do any of you know any of the guys at http://www.rel.nl ?

sure, I can smoke my dope here in Frankfurt almost as freely as in Holland. That's not the reason I love this land. One should just spend a night in Amsterdam - for the first time in his life - take an early trip to The Hague, go to the beach and experience what "peace" means.
Gimme a job there. I swear, I will behave.
