...in NYC/Brooklyn/Queens
I'm shooting a shor movie and need this kind of empty spaces. Anybody?
I asked this question before, and someone responded to go to Brooklyn Navy Yard. Having spent whole afternoon driving around I didn't find any such places.
I found a place in Harlem, unfortunately they are demolishing this building right now... Shooting in those conditions are really scary and footage didn't come out good enough.

In long island city there is a building with huge smoke stacks that was the first power station to generate electricity for NYC.
It's massive and has about six floors.

Is it empty/ is there "easy" access? I have some heard and even though i don't mind jumping a few fances some of my cast might....

So far as I know it's empty I worked on a Givenchy shoot in there.
Don't know the deal on access but man it's a wicked spot.
