You need KPT Vector Effects for Illustrator...that'll do the job.

well, if you don't need it to be too high res... which i am assuming to be true being your client is using powerpoint, just create it as word art in word, or in powerpoint, screenshot the fucker, and either cut it out in photoshop, or run it through streamline.

there was once a website that would render any text you wanted into those 3-d effects.. and then you just save the 3-d.
but.. i have no idea what site it was.. it was a long long time ago

dang it smokie... that might be the site i was thinking of.. of course looks like a site redesign since i last looked at it..
nice job

Hook your clients knackers up to a car battery and make him repeat 'I am not a designer' continuously for one hour.

thats some nasty business... my condolences.

that...
blows.

that is a stupid, stupid question.

You can actually copy paste the text to illustrator, but it comes out a little weird. Worth a try?

dude, simple. Make that shitty 3D look in Powerpoint and then take a freaking screenshot or screendump or whatever you want to call it and then a .gif and use it accordingly.
- lnu0
Screendump = low res
Illustrator = any resI tried it and it's not hard.
