does it have a future? Anyone familiar with forms of it? Where have you seen it being used?
For example: wind generator, solar panels, green energy certificates?

It is the future. There's a company in Nova Scotia that's developing hydrogen fuel cells for car manufacturers in Detroit.

That question neatly answers whether or not we ourselves have a future - so presuambly, it does.
The only EcoCar I've ever seen stays parked outside an apartment showroom, and is emblazoned with some corporate schpiel. It hasn't mved once. (the Angelis, in Old St, in case anyone's thinking 'aha')
Where my father lives in Spain, there's loads of wind farms. He hates them, saying they spoil the view back into the hinterland - but personally, I think they look beautiful - a hundred delicate constructs waving from the mountains.
Lovely.
Aaaanyway...

I hate to say it, but with Bush and his oil tycoons in power, we will continue to go two steps back, one forward. His approached to the environment is despicable.
Or any damn republican, for that matter, as it was Reagan who derailed Carter's solar energy tax breaks and promotions, that could have put the technology decades beyond what it is now.
Sad, so sad.BUT, I am positive about the future :-). There is good progress in the architecture field, fuel cells/photovoltaic cells (for homes and cell phones), some good stuff. Maybe the money to be made by the tech. will win over oil money, who knows.

has anyone ever worked with or know of anyone who has worked with renewable energy sources?

- iron battery, turns to rust when powering, turns back to iron when charging. Breaths in/out oxygen.shapesalad
