this is a qucik question:
how do you do dotted lines in p.s?

to the best of my knowledge, there is no one way to do this in ps.
i could be wrong, but i think that probably the best thing to do would be make it in illustrator and then copy and paste.
either that or you can just make a few dots and then select them, and then with the move tool selected, hold Alt + Shift and drag them until they line up. do that a couple of times and you will get a line however long you want it.
but like i say, there could be an option somewhere, but i've never run across it.

thanks dude.
its amazing, for as good as these apps are there are some major things that should be added.
like in illustrator, I'm working on this logo....the "icon" is a line 3d model of a house....im trying to plce the words inside the house....but the perspective is all off, unless i tweek it....now illustrator 10 doesnt have the distort/perspective tools like in p.s.
so i'm kinda stuck. YIKES.
ideas for that one BIO?

To make a dotted line in PS all you have to do is change your spacing in your brush palet.
Bingo dotted line.Easy.
Photoshop can do almost anything you can think of.
