Hey everybody. I was testing a site I am building now on the G4, standing behind me - and it's hanging! I mean, there is nothing complicated there, no Java. Flash5 with 31fps - and that's it.
How do I restart it? Or end this process? Any hotkeys? The "hardcore way" (by pressing the on/off button) isn't working either. I am laughing and crying. Help me!!

push the little button under the power with the little triangle on it.

but first try apple alt escape.

could be a lot of stuff. have you tested the extensions. could be a problem between some of them.

alt+esc doesn't work.
pushing and holding (!!) the on/off button (the only button I see) doesn't help either.what could be wrong with extensions?!

oops, I DO see the triangle button. ;)

no, apple, alt , escape thats 3 keys.
and not the power button, press the little tiny one with the triangle. I'm on an older g4 maybe they moved the button around the back.?
oh you dont wanna ask about extensions, you are entering a world of pain!

that triangle button was on its place - and it worked. I guess, that was the "hard" way... #_#
I know some extensions, like .html, .exe or even .css! So what could be wrong with them? :)

some installation, some movement you made with the computer... sometimes the extensions give huge problems.
if the problems persists try to restart the computer, press the button "c" while restarting. then the whole extensions are disabled. if you have no problems with computer it could be an extension problem. then switch off again the machine.
switch on the machine again. (no pressing the button "c" this time). if you have the same problem as before is an extension problem.
in that case you have to look the extensions and desactivate the extensions th<t could cause trouble.
but everymachine is a world apart!
