haha yes.. i see what u mean.. i was doing that too over some stairs..
now sometimes i have a look at my board unused for many years.. and surprisingly (hmm..) it always gives me some kind of inspiration.. i guess it turns on the memory 'engine'

yeah remembering watching "Shackle Me Not" for the first time... the H-Street crew seemed to have taking skating to the next level in that one.

I work a lot in the skate main but I don't do sk8. many of my friends are sk8ers.. should I get in to it, knowing that i almost broke a leg before?

Started skating at like 10 in 1983, so snowboarding came a bit easier when I started in 1990. I was into Craig Kelly and Jeff Brushie then along with of course Tony Hawk when he was young. Miss those days bigtime.

I've been skating scince about 1990 when I was 12 and now only ocassionaly rip it up here and there. I've always been interested in shit that wows me I guess like some sweet design, art or some crazy skate death defing act. I've always been inspired the visual wow's.

I use to skate with Lance Mountain in St. Petersburg FL, And John Montessi. Ahhh the days.
Anyone hear of Geoff Rowly, Kid use to come to Clearwater Beach where I lived on vacation before he blew up and got sponsored and put in a video game.
I find that alot of the designers are the ones who stopped skating and took up something else, but still have the blood pumping through thier veins, like me. Alot of my friends went on to be really good skaters, wish I would have stuck with it for a bit longer, but I was poor.

oh chris you fucker...that is a sweet, sweet collection!! old - or have you been building it over the years?
- _b_0
the Natas section
"this is me, going down the street..... .....one foot....."LOVE it.
I learned to kickflip straight after watching that vid at the skate shop for the first time, saw Jeff Kendall do it in his section, went across the road for a skate and replicated it. what a feeling.
man that was a loooong time ago.that is one cool collection Chris, I had one of those Roskopp faces, it was my favourite board ever. I trashed it learning wallrides. :)

I started skating when I was 10 and have never stopped. I'm 28 years old now so I guess that means I've been skating for 18? damn. I skate everyday and skate harder now than I ever have...except I just broke my arm skating so I'll be out for a few months :D
As far as design goes, I'm getting an MFA in design right now. I think skating is just as creative as design and a hell of a lot more fun, but that's just me. I will skate till I die! You all can laugh but it's true. I love that shit.

i used to have a tony hawk deck, independant trucks, nachi bearings, alva speed skin wheels back in 89. Unfortunately i sold for $40 a few years later when skating went out and i surfed more. I now have a mike mcgill dek.
Oh how i miss my tony hawk!
if anyone in aus has it please give it back to me.
