for some time now i noticed that there is an echo on any soud produced by my computer (mp3 and everything soud related as well). I though that it's the speakers, but i just conected some cheap speakers i got from my bro and it's still there. I think it might have something to do with my sound card (Sound Blaster Live), right?

I think it might have something to do with soud going through 2 sound drivers...? Or am i just being stupid?

its your soundblaster.
open your Creative Surround Mixer and makre sure that for the sound environment you've got "No Effects" chosen. if u cant find that go to Creative Restore Defaults. hm or diagnostics.
you've got liveware I hope? maybe liveware XP :)
goodluck

its actually an effect called 'DELAY', you probably have it set on your sound card controlling software such as the one Creative Labs puts out for Sound Blaster Live! and others.
