i wanted so bad to go see it. But I spent all my money so far this summer and I need to go back to my part-time job right now. I need to at least afford college for the upcomming year.
its too bad thought. i know a bunch of people from here in Ottawa that are going.

Overrated. There are so many better unknown bands out there that seriously rock the pants off of radiohead. Get off the kiddie bandwagon.

the fact that they are popular doesnt mean that they arent good or worth listening to, you muppet. at least they try to positively promote lesser known music by giving exposure through supports etc. Get off the 'indier-than-thou' bandwagon.

I was their to... best show I seen since a while... the visual was stunning. Now I'm waiting for bjork, she come at the same place in 2 weeks. The place is so nice, in a parc outdoor with the city in the background.

jason man - you're talking shit!
as far as bands go - radiohead to, without doubt, THE best live show BAR NONE.
I have seen them 6 times - at festivals - and once at the BBC infront of 200 people after Kid A was released....every show a winner...amazing....

after OkComputer, they became so popular and sold so many albums, but still, they werent happy with that, they didnt want to become a hot rock selling albums , mass money making band..so they released kid A, fully xperimental, which blew my hat off..luvit..
also they were offered to compose the winter olympics anthem once, they refused cos they dispise the idea of seeing themselves being advertised with big corporate like 'coke' ..
i respect that, what they do and what they create and their whole approach to music and music making..i've been reading some many articles on thom yorke n radiohead lately..love them even more..
RADIOHEAD RULES!

I dont care anymore about people saying the Radiohead is not so good .... It happend EVERYTIME when a band become very popular. Some poeple dont want to like band that are too popular because its not ''original''. I guess its normal.
so I dont care anymore. People can say what they want.
Only your own opinion is important for that kind of stuff.
The music history is truck-loaded of cases like that.
Think about Nirvana after Nevermind, Metallica after the black album, Pink Floyd after The Wall, Korn after life is peachy etc. etc. They all became ''not cool to like'' after those album, for certain people, because they became too much popular. So it happend to Radiohead after Ok Computer ...

You live on Notre-Dame? Are you rich or just renting a wall to wall carpeted shoe box at 1500$ a month?
