Anybody considering implementing this? I'm attending a seminar tommarrow I'm curious to who's developing with it, and what they're making.

Actually I brought this up many times here, but not much attention to it. I contacted Macromedia for a free trial of Breeze and it's pretty nice. Very similar to what a lot of software companies are doing with importing slides (PPT) with video of some format.

I was given access to an online development tool and it seemed actually really nice. It has some nice conversion tools. I am now using this stuff and I don't like it: http://www.tegrity.com

A little update to this thread.
Breeze runs about 20,000 to host on one of MM's servers. LMS and CMS extensions cost about another 15,000 per year. To purchase a license expect to pay around 40,000 with extensions and 10 users(content creators) per license. Currently only runs on MS servers.

Sure does, I heard 18K though, well this would be for educational I think that;s why we get the discount

Also, Breeze Live is another 20,000 for 50 concurrent users.

shit, they are marketing this to the corporate client for sure. to be honest a friend of mine and I downloaded a cracked Breeze application, yet like you said it has to be hosted and it can be very large it seems.

They're mainly competing with Webex & MS Producer/MS server 2003 products. In that grouping Breeze is actually a good value. Especially when you stretch the license past a year.

It's basically a powerpoint plug-in and java app(server) that acts as an encoder for the swf format. It's meant to be a rapid e-learning tool.

yep he's right. I use a program at Carnegie Mellon called Tegrity at http://www.tegrity.com which is a complete system, but Sonic Foundry also makes one called Media Site Live. Also a total system for teaching and E-learning, streaming etc. But I tell you Breeze is nice!
