How much would you charge for a Print ad?
Is for a skating company, simple, picture of rider, logo, and accion shot in the background..This is my first work for this company, and If I ask the "right" amount I might be doing ads for them every month.
So Im afraid to ask too much, and I dont want to ask too little.
Any help?

What's the ad size? How big is the publication?

..
anybody?
the size is probably the regular magazine size, I dont know yet if its going to be a spread or half page..but if anybody knows, I can start figuring numbers..

wow, that's really difficult to tell. How long you reckon you'd work on this thing? Take it from there, estimate the hours and multiply by rate.
Oh.. and size doesn't matter in this case. Quality does. Haha, that came out wrong but you know what I mean.

yes I know what you mean jox
I agree, size is not the problem.

do you know how much it's going to cost them to print the ad? and how many times they are going to run it? If it costs them $1000 to print it you should atleast charge them $300 for the ad. if they are running it once. If they are running it more take 1 - 5% of how much it costs them to print and multiply by the number of times they are going to print it.

You should decide how much you need to make per hour, multiply the number of hours it's going to take you and then add whatever you think the guy will go for.
