USB and password

    I got some advice from someone over the internet that, in order to enable the USB port on my computer, I would need to enter setup and go on from there. I was just wondering if there was any way I could retrieve the password needed to get into setup (win98) since I don't know what it is. I have to use my old computer because my new one is getting fixed, but I may just re-install everything. This computer was bought from some random guy and he never told us his password. Now I can't connect to my MP3 player until Sunday.

    Basically, I just want to know if there is any way to figure out the setup password, and if there is any other way to enable the USB. Thanks.
