Be careful.
This thing is buggy as hell.first thing you need to do if you're installing fonts from a 'font folder' where you collect and organize all your fonts - open prefs and check 'Always copy fonts'
if you add a font it MOVES the font into the users/library/fonts/ folder - and if you remove/delete the font from FontBook it TRASHES your font without telling you.
I've already accidently trashed about 20 fonts.
Obviously, I have a backup - but it's kind of a pain in the ass to reinstall/copy those things.
Also, if you load too many fonts, FontBook will pretty much die.
and it doesn't organize the fonts in the font menu either
It's pretty shitty.
Sadly, Suitcase is momentarily broken on Panther.

its suitcase 'officially' not working on panther...... i thought it was just me?

suitcase x works fine for me on panther.
- ick0
i've got suitcase x1 to work, but it still doesn't like several fonts that i was using under suitcase (10.2) under 10.2.8.
font book is a piece of shit for more than a handful of fonts... it won't even load half of them.
