will probably live for 150 years... at least thats what scientists say.
those poor little children.

Poor from their wealth of knowledge, or poor from their tolerance of stupidity?
- r_gaberz0
because of their tolerance of stupidity..... as if that wasn't clear nicora
- nicora20
I suppose a "duh" is in order...
- r_gaberz0
indeed.
and with time magazine labeling "tissue engineere" the number one job of the future..... those suckers might even be around a little longer with their high tolerance of stupidity.
- nicora20
"tissue engineere" ??
They must think a good face lift is more important than education?
I didn't know that stat...

Although
I'd rather want my kid to be a gene programmer.... just seems cooler. They also predict that teachers will be a thing of the past... due distant learning programms.
good luck with that idea.

They predict a lot of stuff. When will they preduct that the billion or so people worldwide who live on less than $1 a day will get a chance of a life without poverty.
Id like to predict a global movement like that of the Brazilian Landless Workers Movement that will bring justice and equity to everyone ahead of devisive scientific developments that benefit only a small minority etc.
now that WOULD be cool

I'll tell you whats not cool... minimum wage has increased almost 2 fold in the last 10 years,,, I know this cuz I worked for a plant and flower company my senior yar. Why hasnt mine, or anyone elses wage doubled 2 fold?
- lowimpakt0
people are rarely happy with what theyve got. allways want more, thinking they deserve more, wondering why others have more, spending their lives trying to get more. do they stop when they get more.
- r_gaberz0
I'll swear ... from this moment on I'll spend my whole life trying to get less.
lets see how that works out.
- lowimpakt0
mmm, thats a start.

minimum wage here in the states hasn't increased two fold in the last ten years..... stop smokin. Some people can enjoy life, 150 years of it. think of it as more time to fix mistakes and enjoy a 50 year retirement ;)
