i think it looks pretty nice, though i'd not have gone so far with the gradient. maybe if it were more subtle?

I like it, it looks nice, I wish you could incorporate the imagery into the layout instead of pop-ups, but who am i to talk :)Anyway, in the main part of your site, I find it confusing how, when I click on an item, it says, "for further info, click on the picture"...but there is no picture to click on. Instead I have to click on "view project"
very confusing...i thought i was waiting for an image to load so that i could click it...Why not just skip that whole step and when you click on an item, just open what you get when you click on view project? Seems like you have an extra step/click in there for no reason...hope i'm not being harsh, just trying to be helpful.
