Can you save Indesign CS files back to InD 2.0.2?
i've gotten a couple of files from clients that have CS and i can't open them, but i was wondering if there was a way to back-compatible save them.
Thanks!

I doubt it. Generally, going backwards in terms of versions, things get f*cked up. There might be some plug-in or app that allows you to do it though. I remember having the same problem with Adobe PageMaker way back when.

No, you cannot backsave.
You need to be carefull of this. Some printers still do their RIP'ing in OS9 - they won't be able to use your inDesignCS documents at all.
Always ask before you start and keep inDesign 2 on your machine!

The CS book says you can, if you just download to plug-ins from the Adobe site. However, if you go to the site, it says that they just couldn't get it to work. Maybe in the next VERSION. not even an update or patch.
