css question

  i am working on a project where the user can choose the size of text (ie)
  where all of the text is defined heights in CSS.
  it is going well, but the prob is with drop-down forms.
  if you go to the largest size, then the smalest size, the menus get all messed up. it only happens to menus that are not on screen at the time of change.
  if you refresh the page, they are fixed.
  any ideas how to change this?
