They only work in IE 5 etc i think. That's if you want ti to have a clear background. Usually they have to close by themselves after 15 seconds or something. Depends on where it's being shown. Generally, the designer makes a little movi, with a get url command in there(to send the punter to your site) Then you send it off to Yahoo or whoever's site it'll be appearing on. I haven't done one personally but we have done one or two here. Check with the site that it'll be appearing on to find out their rules and regualtions etc.

it is really easy. all that you need to do is add some stuff to the params.
wmode = transparent.
search this board for wmode.

I'm currently working on a site that features trasnparency. Works well in IE, but I am concerned about other browsers. I have yet to find an example of transparency not working, but my test machine is down and my preliminary tests on various machines/platforms at CompUSA display it fine.
Is there a writeup on what browsers this works with and which it will definitely not?
