Anyone know of a free iPhoto-ish app for PC? Or even a versiontracker.com for PC where I could look?

Photoshop 7 or CS have a browser..
I photo is kinda slow, for PC I will recommend ACDSee, its not free..
but I think you can use the demo version from their site, with an annoying pop up when you start up..
http://www.acdsystems.com/does that help?

I think I'm looking for something a little less involved. It's for my girlfriend's laptop and she's not very computer friendly. Basically I'm just looking for a decent viewer. The One that came with her camera doesn't allow for opening the pictures screen size. It's either thumbnail or full pixel, which is annoying because you keep having to resize pics, even if you just looked at it. Thanks for looking out.

if it just needs to be a simple viewer, windows already has one built in.
in winXP it is called "windows Picture and Fax viewer"
in 98 and 2000 it was just called "Imaging"
It is not packed with features by any means but the one on xp lets you browse through your pics in any given directory
to get to it, right click an image type, such as a jpeg and choose "open with" then choose the viewer..

Not a PC user myself but I saw a review of this the other day and it is supposed to be pretty good. There's a free trial too:
