two sides, idealy.. I would have liked to see the intensity build, maybe 2 or 3 episodes where a series of events made him feel like he needed to give up everything he's been working hard for, like if he didn't have a choice in the end and said fuck it. but it was inconsistent to see him show all that dedication only to throw it all away over a headache and a long day. but to heavy's point earlier, what do we know about him aside form being an mafia criminal. maybe he's a cold blooded killer who is going to continue this sporatic outbursts of violence out of nowhere. either way, I'm diggin this season bigtime.

they tried to make him a good guy as long as they could to throw it off a bit, but right when he picked up the money, I knew it was over.

The transformation came when he found that money(easy money) then his girl the Korean talking shit was the icing on the cake.

I guess he's this season's "wild cannon" character. Seems like every season there is a new unpredictable and out-of-control character to keep things interesting.
Season 2 - Richie Aprile
Season 3 & 4 - Ralph
Season 5 - Tony Blundetto

I thought feech was the wild cannon. but they took care of him too quick...

Some great lines from last night's episode:
"You blew the whole 12 grand?"
"Don't be stupid! I still got $400 left..."
----
"Fuckin job... A work related injury."
(After beating the shit out of his Korean boss.)----
Paulie (talking to Tony B. about Koreans): "Word to the wise: Remember Pearl Harbor!".
----
"There's a dog groomer next door, in case somebody wants a snack!"

"Kung Pow Cootchie"
ChristaferAnyway, whenever this show portrays these guys as being the low-life morons they are instead of glorifying the mob life (see "Donnie Brasco" for good unglorification), its a plus. But they suck us in by showing that Blundetto was working hard (the test) and really cared (chasing the truck, etc). Then the weird 180. They should stick with characters like Paulie, who are funny, scary and stoopid. Though that suit Blundetto bought was a dead give away that he was a total mook.
Not everyone on the show can be a thinking man's mobster (a la Hesh). Just leave it so Tony is the only one capable of having an interior life.
