hey i was interested in hearing people's opinion on what is the role of morality in image making? for example, is it shown through the artists beliefs and stance on something..the way he or she feels about a topic..or is the role of morality the reaction/the way it is recieved by its audience? the "shock value"..? or sumfin else... would love to hear some thoughts xx oh PS. hi, im new!! ;)

I'd rather no reply than an insulting one but brooke is right.
I'll help you out - the integration of morality into image or sign has be a conscious act and the perception of that morality can but only be subjective to the viewer unless it specifically seeks to frame a particular moral tenet although what at first appears to contravene a moral tenet may in fact strengthen that tenet through the resultant interpretation by said viewer.
i'm totally making this up so dont try and hold me to it......

I have morals. They're twisted and strange, but morals nevertheless.
