Anti IMF protest or pro-choice rally?
- mg330
How about anti Bush, anti Republican rally?
I might stop into orbitz for a cheap ticket if that's what's going down.

Note: Stay away from my city, we dislike protestors.
Please go protest somewhere else.. . maybe Birmingham, Alabama ... we are sick of all of this.
- phatlee0
people like save get out of his arm chair and does things, instead of whinging and chanting "Not in my name!"blah blah blah

I always like it when the protesters come to Seattle. Because they always end up rioting and then we get to watch news footage of some dumbass getting kicked in square in the nuts and then pepper sprayed.
Tons o' fun!

if no one protested:
- no women's rights
- no child labor laws
- no equal civil rights for non-whites
- more soldiers lost in vietnam
- no revolution of 1776
- i can go on and on...you might like seeing protesters gettin beat down, but theres a reason why they do it. and obviously, you don't get it.

slinky, why live in DC with all the government if you hate protesters?
- whatever0
The right to peaceable assemble is a right. If you don't exercise your rights and demand them don't be surprised when they're taken away.
I wish I lived closer to DC and could go to this protest. Its about time there was visible representation of the opinions of the American people.
Too many people confuse what they see on television with their opinion.
But maybe there is so much political apathy is because having an opinion and really believing in something is too much work...playstation is much easier.
Wake up the world is changing all around up and you are complicit, not saying anything is the same as complicit agreement.
Maybe everyone will get an opinion when they reinstate the draft...

sorry for some of the grammatical incomprehension, more coffee please...
