At 18 not dumping my gf for cheating on me 3 weeks into the relationship only to do it again 3 years later with my best friend. I lost so much.
At 20 not letting my friends drive me home and getting behind the wheel drunk and almost killing myself in a tree vs. pickup accident.
At 21 not sleeping in a booth at the bar I worked at after working 3 doubles in a row as well as studying for finals and getting behind the wheel only to fall asleep and almost kill myself in an accident.
At 26 never telling this girl Shannon whom I worked with for 5 years that I loved her. Now she's engaged to sum shmuck who cheats on her.
Thats all.

no regrets.
just horrible mistakes that shattered lives and destroyed families.

chasing after the same girl for a year and a 1/2, treated her like a princess, had her treat me like shit, told her i was in love with here, got back together, she started seeing some one new, told me she never had feelings and we never had a realtionship. had to go get my stuff i left at her apartment because i basically lived with her for 2+ months. felt like, been drunk for two weeks straight after all this. this was 4 weeks ago... gotta go kill myself too
thanks for the thread, dick!

Life is too short for regrets...every mistake is there to be made...and to learn from. That is life.

you have to sober up before it becomes a regret.
i answer to no one but the bottle.

I didn't buy this

though to rationalize, it was a gas guzzler, extremely unsafe (shoddy seatbelts, no head rests, loose stearing wheel) and I'd have to work a shit job just to pay it off every month.

i had a chance to kiss a beautiful girl, in paris, on the top of the effile tower, at sun set. and i pussed out b/c she was engaged to some guy. she probably would have slapped me but i should have tried anyway.

i regret spending as much of my life in texas as i have... a change is coming soon... very soon...

i should have made some changes career wise a lot sooner. I got used to being comfortable. But, I was comfortable being miserable.
Now things are more than awesome and I finally get to get my house and start a family AND have a rockin career. I get to have my cake and eat it, too.
Change is good. so so so good. Don't wait... just do it. whatever it is youve been thinking/wanting to do for a long time. If you're a bright person it will more than likely work itself out.

regret is such a pointless and depressing emotion. (unless you've done something REALLY bad). I'd only regret any time i've wasted regretting shit.
O lost days of delight, that are wasted in doubting and waiting!
O lost hours and days in which we might have been happy!(Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Tales of a Wayside Inn)
