does anyone do any rotoscoping on here, im looking to get into it and wanna know whats the best thing to use. Also does anyone have a used wacom tablet for sale?

YOu can rotoscope in Flash. I took some quicktime movies and imported them into Flash and rotoscoped that way. It takes patience. But I'm sure there's a more upscale way of doing it.

I'm learning on Carrara Studio 3. I was told it was a great tool to use for rotoscoping. Timing, angles and lighting are drilling me but i've only been using Carrara for about a week.

I'd recommend Combustion as they have adjustible in/out feathering splines that I haven't seen in AE. Very good color correction in this program to.
This would be my first choice.

i use AE, jsut cause i am confortable in it.
however, once my contract is over i am gonna work on learning Combustion some more, cause everyone is loving it now.

Anyone have experience with Flix from Wildform? I'm a Flash noob and would like to create a simple vectorized/stylized video. Pretty much just outlines from existing footage. How does this program stacked up to the ones mentioned already? Thanks: www.wildform.com/flix
