Here is one i just started working on for my own sports fan interaction site EveryTeam.com...
i only made it 5 minutes ago... i'd like to get some quick opinions...
i kinda like it, but feels like something is missing. maybe i just suck too much to recognize good vs bad right now.
here it is.

It's going good. Try some treatments with the logo on its own. It might be helpful for us to see the progress work too.

join up the letters lazy

I like the typeface for the "ET", but not necessarily for the rest...tough to read?

Ummmmm, lets see.
text is way to small compared to logo. Also like Rasko said join the letters, especially if you be strokin. but while you're at it, find a way to NOT stroke the letters. Its a weird thing that is somehow accepted [not by me].

the slant on the top of the "t" in "et" is going the wrong way too

new one is worse.
although the "T" is better now in the logo.
i think that you need to find a happy medium between the first and second one.
TR1PS. i am assuming that it must be B&W. uz, if not, try some colour to differentiate the icon from the text.

It feels a little passive to me.. plain.. could be for a lot of things..

Don't rush it...... research and develop some other concepts that have some substance to the concept. You need some meaning behind it.

Is logo-curious anything like bi-curious?

I keep thinking E.T. (the movie) when I see it. Maybe just play with just the words?

good or not good.. a lot of names have the initials ET.. Entertainment Tonight.. (ET the movie logo looks nothin like it...)
i am not worried to much about that anyway...
i just am curious if i am goin in the right direction... i feel as if i am... but i suck at all this so we'll see what miracles fly outta my butt

true, true.
It's probably just me.

for a sports site it's really not sporty. shrink the top part of the logo or make the bottom text larger. join the letters together. (that's all if you want to stick with the sports site logo with a non sporty looking logo)
