they are basically the same unless your flying business class

not all airlines are the same. some are crap. i'm going very far away and I'm spending a lot of money on my ticket-i want to have an idea of how the airline is.

from personal experience, out of the major ones, i'd recommend british airways or lufthansa...roomy and excellent service.

I thought the plane was going down when I flew Suntrips

save money. construct a huge slingshot and shoot yourself to your destination.

just came back from DC...flew with united. going there the 757 was crap, but returning the 767 was all "economy plus" and was very roomy.
unless you can pull yourself out of the cattle car by flying 1st or bidness, it depends on the plane. otherwise i'd say lufthansa, some british airways planes and some JAL planes are nice.
had some good luck with airtran, but that was a domestic shot in the dark.

where r u going btw? that helps to narrow them down.

Thailand, my options are limited because of price but with a 24 hour trip i'm not messing with an airline that doesn't have individual tv screens! i've found what i need. going with continental which happens to be voted airline of the year.
if anyone is interestedseatguru.com is great and this one has the awards
