Maybe something to do with White Van man being pissed off about not getting maximum value for money out of his England flags

i bike in Edinburgh, it sucks too but mostly it's car drivers who are the tossers here...
A month ago one guy alsmot knocked me off, I just looked at him as I went past his car and the prick gets out (on the middle of a junction) and chases me down the street screaming "I'm gonnae fucken kill ye ye fucken bastart"
This morning a driver cut right in front of me too.... he got a nice little brown present on the back of his 406 when I passed him at the next lights though ;)

Do you where a mask when riding through town
I almost die every day just walking down Old Street. Smog is killing me. I'd be in better health staying home smoking 20 a day.
You have a point about pedestrians but some of you cyclist don't obay a single rule of the road either.

i live in hx sq and ride a bmx! fucking cliché or what! well, we obey rules but we're in between legs and engines so we're pragmatic...people need to seriously chillout - drivers and pedestrians always get arsey at us, but think of things from a cyclists perspective, sometimes we can see pedestrians run into the road if theyre hidden by busses or lorries and sometimes we can afford to swerve to avoid coming off our bikes...mutual respect please....

yep, i cycle in london as well.
got knocked off twice by careless drivers.
got attacked by some maniac on a motorbike for no obvious reason.
had some hooded teenies throw coca-cola and shout abuse at me from above a bridge.
(i seem to bump into gangs like that a lot)still cycling though!
they can all f**ck off!

christoff, why a bmx?
seems less efficient than walking...

as cyclist i yell at cardrivers
as a cardriver i can't stand those silly cyclists.
but the solution is OFFROAD CROSS-COUNTRY biking to your work.
like i do!

it beats getting the bus, the drivers on the 37 from clapham to brixton are evil bastards
- jpolk0
btw... you can be arrested for drunk driving on a bicycle in california, anything like that in england?
$2500 in fines, a day of jail, 6 mos of counseling, suspended driver's license for 3 mos etc...
kinda crazy, my friend got popped...
