Yes to all the above. It's not really a logo but a border I need to add to hundreds of images all being the exact size. The border is a seperate .psd file having a hollow inside (transparant).

BonSeff, I owe you. I knew how to do the rest but didn't know a way to import the file. I'm having a go with it now.

are all your images the same size?
do you want the logo to be in the same spot in all the images in the batch?
do you want the logo to be the same size everywhere?
is the logo going to have any type of transparency?
i'll try to help you if i can

Do it once, record it as an action.
File>Automate>Batch
Apply the action you made.
Should work, mess with it.

maybe i'll just try explaining it first..
hopefully all your images are in a folder.
so here is what you do.
1st open your logo in photoshop and then do a select all, copy the logo and close the document. that way your logo is in the clipboard.then open one of the images you want to drop the logo in.
once the image is open, open the actions palette and create a new action. name it logo or something.
it will start recording.paste the logo in the document.
resize it and move it where you want it. tweak the opacity to what you want it. flatten the image. save and close.then hit the stop button on the action.
then, with no images open in photoshop, go to the file menu and under automate click on the batch tab.
under the action dropdown, select the action with the name you just created. it should already be there selected.
the source dropdown should be 'folder
and choose the folder with all the images in it.
click ok, drink a beer and find something to do while it does all 500 images.hopefully this is clear.
lemme know if it isnt.
