is it not possible to set dynamically created textfields to _quality ="LOW" ?
when i publish (cmd-return) all the text are aliased which is fine.
but when i preview publish to a browser (html preference set to LOW) all the text are anti aliased. I previewed the file in Safari, IE and firefox, all of them have the latest plugin and showing the same result.any ideas?
Thanks

we wish.
you could use a pixelfont for crisp flash type.
or use the setMask in as.

and do not include font outline info (textbox settings)

only if u make your entire movie quality = "LOW".

Hi Stewart and Unfit
I did set the first frame to _quality = "LOW"
even attached
this.createTextField("myText_txt...
myText_txt._quality = "LOW"; still no luck.the font in my setFormat is _sans. does this have anything to do with it?
Thanks!

you're sure your "Embed outlinefonts for" in the textbox settings is set to "No Characters" ??
and here on my mac the _sans is anti-aliased only on 13pt and below.
you may check that too.and btw, i think _sans is not the best choise there is. it is hinted like a helvetica and not very legible below 11 px.
try Verdana, Geneva, or a nice pixelfont.
good luck.
