ok, i asked about this a while back and didn't have much luck then. SO I figure I'll give it another shot...
I need the Mac people to look at this site and let me know if it works when you click around the different sections. Apparently, the main site and intro content will load, but once you click a button, nothing happens...
This site works fine on PC and some macs/OS/browsers...
Does anyone have any knowledge as to why the sections won't load?? The only difference between the front content and loaded sections is the way I load the movies. The front is just the load movie command, while the sections are loaded with a function that ties variables together....
Any help would be greatly appreciated..

anybody? I know this isn't as cool as Kanye or Deathball, but I really need some help!

sorry man,
i looked at it and yeah, they don't load. unless you can offer some fla's for some AS tinkering there's no way to know. sorry.
best of luck with it though, it looks great.

also, as the older content does actually unload are you sure it's not a preloader problem on the first frame of the incoming movie?
just a thought to start the ball rolling?!?
- Jman0
thanks for the reply Airey...
I'm loading all movies into a movie clip on the main timeline. The preloader is on Level 0...
The function sends the movie to a frame on Level 0 where the preloader is and checks the progress of the movie clip that the new movies are being loaded into...Again, this works fine on SOME Macs and all PC's...any thoughts?
I'll email you the .fla
thanks again

sorry again man, i use _levels rather than blank mclips. i'm going to use the mclip thing for the next site i work on but am in the dark about it. i actually have preloaders for each and every one of em so my knowledge is waayyy below yours. srry i can't bloody help!
maybe it's worth checking actionscript.org or similar to troubleshoot your code?
maybe try the www.were-here.com forums and see if someone there can help? i've found them to be useful (sometimes).

Yeah. Checked it out.. In Windows XP Sp1 under Virtual PC it works... On OS10.3.6 it does not... I have to say, problems like this seem a tad strange.. Whats the loading code look like?
- exstatic0
dude, im using Firefox on Win XP SP1 and im having the same issue.. The first part loads, but nothing else happens after I click a button, so it looks like its more of a browser related issue as it works fine in IE on Windows XP
- Boz0
same as exstatic.

PS (L) the music. Had it looping for about an hr thinking it was iTunes . . .
- Neuarmy0
same here. safari 10.3.6
first section loads, then when i click the other buttons, i see the loader for a split second, then nothing. i also noticed that when i click on the buttons in the featured work part at the bottom, it changes the top buttons to their "active" state...? (i'm assuming that's another bug, as it makes no sense)

thanks for your effort everybody....This thing is going to drive me crazy. I know it has to be a browser/OS problem, but I just can't figure out why it would work on some and not others...
The featured work at the bottom will take you to the same content as the nav buttons at the top, that's why the buttons go to active state, which is fine when the sections actually load...
I was hoping someone might have had some experience with this kind of browser/OS conflict, like a certain piece of code that MAC can't digest or something...
If anyone else has any suggestions, feel free...
