What's the story with loading swf's into your main movie which are calling other movies?
Why do relative paths work (ie the path from loaded movie) and other times you have to change the path so it's reading it from the _root directory?Does anyone have an answer? It's driving me NUTS!
I want to use relative paths throughout these directories.
Much like in html!

After creating a new xml object, can you substitute a variable (in this case dynamic) which contains the exact path to the xml file. This way I wouldn't have to hard code the path.
--ie. instead of --
this.slides_xml.load(galleries/g...--you do --
this.slides_xml.load(xmlPath);--where 'xmlPath' is a variable containing the path shown above in the first example.
I tried it and so far no success. Do I not have the proper syntax or cannot not be done?
I know the variable is being passed so it can't be that.
