Over or Under or Not?

As I was using the restroom here at work earlier today, I noticed that someone had replaced the toilet paper so that it dispensed in an underhand fashion. That really bothered me, because I always place my toilet paper on the spool so that it dispenses from an overhand position. What about you guys? do you place it over, under or neither and just leave the TP sitting vertically on top of the empty spool or toilet tank?

over is the proper way because most all of the more expensive toilet paper has prints that are designed to be showcased spooling from overhand.
also. wet-wipes are a mans best friend.

If you could explain the advantages of one way over the other, I might be able to choose sides.
From a purely asthetic point, sometimes I'm in an under mood and sometimes over.
I find that functionality is the same on open roll.
All bets are off when you talk about fancy despensers.

the idea with having the paper over is so the 'lid' on the dispenser helps tearing the paper. right.
