Her is a question that is probably super easy and I just got really lazy.
When I make a cube in 3D, how do I convert the whole thing to an edibale shape? Like when you hit, 'expand' in pathfinder to make it one shape. I want to be able to freely edit any line.
Hope this makes sense and thanks in advance.

brooke, thanks for the tip...
much appreciated..'s weird tho...been using this for about a decade, and have been using the eyedropper to grab colour from raster images for much of that time...but i don't ever recall having to use the shift key..

You can change your settings to where you don't have to press SHIFT, too.
Double click on your eyedropper tool & uncheck "Appearance" under "Eyedropper Picks Up."
